Garden Committee Member Recruitment
The Moray Feu Wants You! Since the founding of the Feu in 1822, the Management Committee has been a group of volunteers elected by their fellow Feuars to oversee the care and improvement of our four Pleasure Grounds. We have places available and are looking for a potential new chair. We have 11 committee members in total.

TIME COMMITMENT • Length of service is three years, but the members may stand for re-election for two further terms. Bi-monthly meetings, Meetings take place on a weeknight evening• Attendance at the AGM, held each June.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee the implementation of annual and long-range plans.• Share oversight of budgets and actively participate in financial discussions.• Coordinate one or more functional areas; current vacancies are described below.• Collectively make decisions in partnership with the Committee members.• Be accountable for supporting in principle and in practice the regulations approved by the Feuars in general meeting and contained in the Feuars Handbook. Support events and communication with residents. The Committee is seeking members who are interested in the following areas:
Family Convenor – to represent families with children
Communications and digital convenor – to help develop communications, website and social media platforms
Governance – to help with long term planning of the work of the gardens
SUPPORT to CONVENORS Flexible role on the committee. Responsibilities would be allocated to work alongside a convenor who is in need of help at a given time, or cover for holiday and illness.
